The NECCC individual Print Competition is held twice a year, and judged at the Greater Lynn Photographic Association (GLPA). This year’s competition dates are Saturday, October 18, 2025 and Saturday, March 28, 2026.
This is a great way for printmakers to participate in an exciting print competition. The NECCC BOD hopes you will enter this free Individual Print Competition as we try to keep prints and print making attractive to competitors and alive in our photographic clubs and organizations.
Submissions
A printmaker may enter one Black & White (Monochrome) Print and one Color Print.
Prints must be mounted.
There is no entry fee.
Printmakers can mail their prints prior to the deadline, or they can drop them off the morning of the judging, attend the judging, and then take their prints home with them at the end of the day. Printmakers can mail their prints in with a return postage of $15 if they want their prints returned to them, several maker’s prints be packaged in one box. There is no fee if they do not want their prints returned.
Bringing prints in person is a great way to stay to see the judging with brief critiques and see the many amazing prints from your fellow New England Member clubs. If you attend the judging, you may also take your prints home with you at the end of the judging, however, the winning prints will need to be photographed so you may have to wait approximately 15 minutes after the judging to collect them to go home.

Print Judging
All prints will be judged by three qualified judges using a regulation lightbox and an electronic scoring device. All scores will be recorded on the back of the prints on the official NECCC label that will be generated and affixed on your print for you. All prints will have a short critique by one of the judges after it has been scored using a rotation through all three judges. To make it easier for the audience in attendance to see the prints, the prints will be projected on the 12-foot screen in the front of the hall at the same time the judges will be judging and viewing them in the lightbox.
