The New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) is a non-profit umbrella group for camera clubs in the New England states (Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont). The Council was established in 1937 and incorporated in 1963.
The Council sponsors a variety of events and services for the photographers of New England.
- Scholarships are awarded each year to students so they may further their studies in the field of imaging.
- Keeping Clubs Active is a series of online meetings (August-May) to support club activities.
- Miniseries on topics of general interest to member clubs; recording of previous miniseries on Judging and Nature photography, and any future miniseries.
- An annual series of Digital Interclub Competitions provides friendly competition among clubs.
- Individual Print Competitions are open to your club members.
- In Recorded Commentary; an experienced photographer will review your members’ images.
- Print Study Groups allow your members to participate and get feedback from other print makers.
- Lists of Judges and Speakers are published as a resource.
- Nature Subject Identification Service.
- Club events may be publicized on the NECCC News (blog) and NECCC Facebook page.
